Shit Shit SHIT

The past few days have sucked. I wonder sometimes why I put myself through so much shit for someone who doesn't appreciate me. I am always ALWAYS there for my bf and it seems like whenever he's pissed about something I'm the last person he runs to no matter how much I try to be there for him. That makes me angry. I am always thinking of him, always worried about him, always wanting things to be better for him, always doing for him. him him HIM. Shit. Just now, we have to work on this assignment due next week. I offered him my notes last night because I take really good notes and my assignment came out well for it. But somehow thay don't work for him. It's like he's mad at me because his shit isn't working. And granted all I have is my notes, if i KNEW how to fix it I WOULD but I DONT and because he's had a shitty semester he's been very sharp with me, so when he left the room all fucked up and frustrated, I let him go. I've been at the mercy of his temper one too many times. My thing now is, he's angry: I don't fuck with him. I simply haven't the time. I expect he's gone home, right? No. He comes back and sits with someone else who can help him better than I apparently. That makes me mad because I'm trying my best and he bites my head off for not KNOWING what to do and yet, he'll be all nice with some asshole who has proven he doesn't give two shits about him. These are the reasons I question our relationship. He's so fast to be with me when shit is good but when it's bad he goes running to his bonehead boys like they know shit. THEY DON'T KNOW SHIT! Then when things are better he's all up under me again like nothing happened and if I happen to seem pissed in the least I get my head bitten off... Asshole. I hope everything works out for him because I want him to do well, but I am sick to death of being his doormat. I am way fucking smarter than them and I love him to death. I always want to help but he's being a dickhead. And when he gets like that I don't feel like helping.

Today I slept.

I slept all damn day.

I hate it when I do that.

But, alas, I needed it.

I hate being sick because it ca=uses you to miss a lot of things in your every day life. Take for instance, my boss, who was sounding like a real asshole when I called him at 7am again after leaving him a message at 6:30 am that I was sick and couldn't come in. I never understood that. I mean, it's not like I'm intentionally TRYING to fuck up his day. Would he prefer I come in and make caramel frappucinos in my delicate state? Possibly. All he sees is numbers. And he's such a bitch on Mondays anyway. Good thing I made up the hours I lost today earlier this week. I was looking forward to a little extra meat on my check this week but, hey, I felt like SHIT. And I suffered enough through work yesterday. So screw him. All people affiliated with Starbucks seem to be mildly insane or afflicted with some other kind of mental dysfunction, myself included, he's just further gone than I. That's why I promised not to make Starbucks my life as so many... nay, TOO many people do.

At any rate, here I am, obviously, at school waiting for the torture to begin, for today is the day I turn in my awful animation assignments. I'm preparing myself for the inevitable asshole ripping. I'm also hoping that the third assignment that I didn't complete isn't due today as everyone seems to believe. I don't remember getting THAT memo, and I'm usually good about these things. I was going to just stay home and duck out on the whole thing and take my blows later but I really do hate leaving things up in the air. Besides, if I turn my shit in today, I won't have to worry about being behind, plus, I think he may tell us what our midterm is today. I don't want to have to hear it from someone else. They never get it completely straight.

Frustration

I'm beginning to get to that point in the term where I want desperately to kill my animation teacher. I can't stand the work we have to do and it further aggrivates me that I can't seem to successfully accomplish the task at hand. It's like, no matter what I do I suck. It's like everyone else can get it but me. I can do almost everything else except this. When I had this dickhead before I was just as frustrated and it hasn't gotten any better. And the thing that pisses me off further is that my bf gets upset with me what I just want to vent and be angry about my issues, be they this or any other issue. That really irks me. Because when HE wants to be angry not only do I HAVE TO be there for him I have to listen and agree to EVERYTHING he says or else he gets his dick all tangled up.

How did this get to be about him?

I don't know. he just frustrates me sometimes and right now I'm cranky, hungry and my work is coming out shitty, so i'm really not in a good place to be fucked with. It's like perma-PMS and it drives me crazy. All I want is someone to let me blast out my feelings and not take it as if I'm angry at THEM. That's how the bf is. He takes everything so damn personally. And I end up either pissing him off or holding everything inside.

If only I had a computer at home so I could blog on impulse. I feel wierd asking someone if I can use their internet to blog. It's very personal and I don't need anyone I know reading this over my shoulder. (in case you were wondering, I can only blog at school. That's why most of the time I'm in class.)

At any rate. I suppose I'm not quite as frustrarted as I was a moment ago, so that's good. I always feel better after saying exactly what's on my mind when upset, even if I don't necessarily mean everything that comes out of my mouth.

My ex boyfreind is in my watch...

That watch to which I dedicated my font color in my last entry, you remember it? (If you were at ALL paying any attention.) I just noticed the manufacturer name is that same as my ex bf's name! And it's not like, okay, so? People have common names.. well he didn't he's Indian and his name is Vivek, and apparently so is the name of my watch...

I just did the MOST annoying thing!

Has this ever happened to you?:
You spend a few minutes writing exactly what you want to say in your blog and are proofreading it and do something very boneheaded like ERASE IT ALL BY ACCIDENT????

This has just happened to me.

I just went through my whole schpeil about how my bf's ex came into my Starbucks yesterday and explained the whole dramatic story...

And I erased it.

I am far too annoyed to go into the story again. So unless I see her ugly juggernaut, jabberwocky ass again someday and she does something to aggrivate me, I won't write about it.

And from now on I will SAVE MY DRAFT before proofing.

What is it with men lately? They can be so presumtuous at times. Do men sit in front of their mirrors and worship themselves. Are they so secure in their self wonderfullness that they can't see an uninterested female coming a mile away (Because more than likely, that's where she'll be... a mile away from HIM.) Yesterday this scruffy middle aged, less than good-looking, arrogant sonofabitch came up to me at the bus stop. Mind you, I am just trying to get home. And he must have sat there for 15 minutes telling me how beautiful and wonderful I am. His angle is 'Oh, you don't even have to tell me your name or your number because I'm not running game but all I ask is that if you see me again, give me a chance to prove myself to you.'

....

I'm thinking, prove WHAT, exactly? I don't know you. I don't like you and you're like old enough to have children my age and if you're not you certainly LOOK like it.

He's so very confident in himself that he thinks I'll actually be impressed by his banter. And really, if I'm that damn scrumtioulent, don't you think I'd HAVE a man? But really, I mean, THAT little detail never matters (if it al all occurs) to these guys. They just assume that you've been here on earth, waiting beautifully for them to appear and flatter you into nothingness and you're just supposed to melt? In the immortal words of Cher Horrowitz from Clueless "I don't THINK so..."

You Know my favorite line? After they find out you're with a man they go "Oh, well does he treat you good?" Yes. "Well I can treat you better." I look at them and I'm thinking how can you be so sure? I swear at least 5 guys have asked me that exact question in the past 2 months. And I don't know what it is about me but I seem to attract either very ghetto, scruffy looking, ignorant ass muthafuckers or mildly attractive but way too into themselves jerky egocentric assholes. Why, just ten minutes ago a guy I've expressed absolutely no interest in on more than one occasion since I've been here (both when i was single and when I was not) who KNOWS I have a man tried to flirt with me. He saw one of my martini renders and invited me for martinis and sex on the beach. And if THAT wasn't enough he had the nerve to say I might be 'wired' afterward. I'm like, okay not only are you a disrespectful prick but you're proud of it too??

And me? I'm so damn polite that I rarely completely shut these assholes down. I just stand there, laughing internally, and marvel at their erroneous and magnanimous egos.

And they unknowingly interpret my silence as a positive thing.

Sex and the Cherri...

I am a Sex and the City addict. Ever since my boyfriend bought me the first and second seasons on DVD I've been hooked. I confess, before I saw the DVDs I'd never really watched the show. I only saw one episode and it was the one where Samantha's date had "funky spunk" so I was a little wierded out. Plus I personally hate watching shows out of order. I like to know what's going on and follow along which is why I'm also not watching the current and last season airing because I only have up to season four on DVD. But my curiosity got the better of me today and I peeked online at the episode guides on HBO.com. *Sigh* Good thing I don't have cable yet or I'd be dying to watch it. Lord knows I have shit to do in the dorms on Sundays...

Hot Chocolate Martinis

Breakfast is a wonderful thing. Just ten minutes ago I was almost asleep in class and now I'm a bit more alert after my delicious beef empanada and cup-o-HC. (Yes- empanada. I got to Miami International University. Our cafe has all the quaint hispanic touches.)

I'm still a bit groggy. I was up till midnight twisting my boyfriends' hair. (He's going to start growing out his dreads again.) Hopefully my flash teacher will let us out soon so I can go home and sleep. Actually I'm lying. I'll either end up going to the labs to do homework or going shopping.

Today is one of those days outside that is kinda overcast and I guess some might think it gloomy but I love days like this. Especially here in Miami. It's nice and breezy and it's not actually raining and it makes me feel peaceful. Not alarmed or tense or anxious. It might sound wierd but I really hope the sun doesn't come out. I'm glad I don't have to work today.

In case anyone is wondering, I designed that banner up there. That is the result of 2.5 years studying computer animation. the graphic design aspect comes in real handy. If you want to see some of my real C.A. work I'll see if I can post a picture.
